Bread Recipe


  • 450g Springhill Farm Gluten Free Bread Mix
  • 50g Oil
  • 550mls Warm Water
  • 1-1/2tspn Salt
  • 2tspn Dried Yeast


Combine ingredients in an electric mixer with a dough hook until dough is smooth

Allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size (Approx. 40 minutes).

Beat back down to original size using mixer.

Transfer to a seasoned baking tin.

Allow to rise again for 20 minutes.

Bake in 200° C oven for 1 hour. (Baking time will vary according to your oven; generally hotter and longer is better. This bread is better overcooked than under cooked).

For pizza bases and rolls, use only 500mls of warm water.

If using a bread machine - Choose highest temperature, longest cycle and add a little more water.

Turkish Bread Recipe


  • 450g Springhill Farm Gluten Free Bread Mix.
  • 3tspn Yeast.
  • 660mls Warm Water.
  • 2tspn Salt.
  • 2tspn Sugar.
  • 1 Large Egg.
  • 50g Oil
  • Sesame Seeds


Combine bread mix with the warm water, yeast, salt, sugar, oil and egg in electric mixer with a dough hook and mix until dough is smooth. (Approx. 10 minutes).

Let the dough rise for at least 30 minutes, but for up to 1.5 hours. (It will be approx. 3 times the starting size if left this long).The longer the dough is left to rise, the stronger the yeast flavour will be in the finished product.

Preheat oven to 210° C.

When the oven has reached temperature, place an oiled heavy based baking tray in the oven for 10 minutes.

Take the tray from the oven and pour in the bread dough, sprinkle with sesame seeds (or your favourite toppings) and bake for approx. 35-45 minutes.

Allow to cool before slicing.
