BAKELS WHITE MUD CAKE MIX

WHITE MUD CAKE

Ingredients

  • 500g White Mud Cake/Muffin Mix
  • 2 Eggs
  • 200ml Water
  • 25ml White Rum (Optional)
  • 150g White Chocolate (melted)
  • 100ml Oil

Method

Place the first 4 ingredients into a mixing bowl and blend on low speed for 2 min.

Mix chocolate and oil, allow to cool, then add to mixing bowl and blend on second speed for 1 min.

Place into 18cm tin, greased and lined.

Bake for 60 mins at 160-170 degrees.

 

MUFFIN MIX

Ingredients

  • 200ml Water
  • 2 Eggs
  • 500g White Mud Cake/Muffin Mix
  • 200ml Oil

Method

Place first 3 ingredients into a bowl and blend on low speed for 1 min. Blend on second speed for 4 mins.

Add oil and blend on low speed for 1 min.

Bake for 15-20mins. at 215 degrees.

 

GANACHE TOPPING

Ingredients

  • 150ml Thickened Cream
  • 500g Chocolate

Method

Heat cream to boiling point.

DO NOT BOIL

Remove from heat and add chocolate and mix until smooth.

Chill, beat until aerated and spread over cake.
