BAKELS SPONGE MIX

Ingredients

  • 1kg Bakels Sponge Mix
  • 420mls Water
  • 400g Egg (4-5 large eggs)

Method

Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Mix together on low speed.

Scrape down.

Mix on top speed for 6 to 8 minutes.

Then on second speed for 2 minutes.

For SPONGE ROUNDS (18cm) scale 230g sponge batter. Oven temperature 190° C.

For SWISS ROLLS scale 1kg to 1.2kg sponge batter in standard baking tray. Oven temperature 220° C.
