BAKELS GOURMET CHEESECAKE MIX
Biscuit Crumb Base
Ingredients
- 250g Plain Sweet Biscuits
- 125g Melted Butter
Method
Line or lightly grease 21cm springform tin.
Process biscuits until they resemble fine breadcrumbs.
Add butter and process until just combined.
Press crumb mixture evenly over base and sides of prepared tin.
Refrigerated Cheesecake
Ingredients
- 500g Bakels Gourmet Cheesecake Mix
- 275mls Water
Method
Place water in mixing bowl.
Add Bakels Gourmet Cheesecake Mix and mix on top speed until light, approx. 3 minutes.
Pour cheesecake mixture over crumb base.
Smooth off. Chill in refrigerator until firm.
Alternatives
Fold chopped fruit, chocolate bars, grated chocolate through cheesecake mixture before pouring over crumb base.
Baked Cheesecake
Ingredients
- 500g Bakels Gourmet Cheesecake Mix
- 350mls Water
- 2 Small Eggs
Method
Place eggs and water into a mixing bowl.
Add Bakels Gourmet Cheesecake Mix and mix on top speed for 1 minute.
Scrape down and continue mixing for a further 2 minutes.
Pour cheesecake mixture over crumb base.
Bake at 160°C for approximately 35 minutes.
Do not over-bake as cheesecake should only be baked until the filling sets.
Alternatives
Top with fruit and/or sprinkle with nuts before baking.
